Then and Now

So today I came to the realization that my little Abby is growing up and its coming too quick! It seems like she is still a baby to me...Next month she will be a Sunbeam!! I don't know maybe I am just crazy, but I am really having a hard time with this. Now I understand when we were little and my dad would tell us he was going to give us "shrinking formula". Its fun to see her learn all these new things, but its going by way too fast!!! Today she decided she was going to dress herself without me having to ask her. And even though she put the shirt on backwards she did match her shirt to her pants (which is a lot better from a few weeks ago when she was determined to wear her swimsuit all day). I am definitely going to call her baby though until she asks me not too and then I think when that day comes I am really going to loose it!!! So if you see me trying to hold Abby like a baby or something..don't be alarmed its just me trying to keep her little as long as possible.

Santa

While Grandma and Grandpa Pilkington were here for Thanksgiving we thought it would be fun to take the girls to Lights of the South to see the lights and Santa. We had a lot of fun. The girls really enjoyed the hay ride and all the lights. Abby couldn't wait to see Santa. When it was our turn Abby went right up to him gave him a big hug and sat on his lap. That was a first for her usually she either won't look at him or we have to fight her just to let us take a picture. So it surprised us to see her really excited to see him...Emma however wanted nothing to do with him. She screamed the whole time!!

Look at me...

Isn't this crazy, here I thought that I would never be the one to do this and here I am. I guess I felt a little dumb when I would find myself reading everyone else's blogs and didn't have one of my own. So Here We Go!!! I guess to start off I will tell you a little about our family. Aaron and I met in Utah. (I am from Utah and Aaron is from Missouri) We have two beautiful little girls...Abby who is 3 and Emma who is 16 months old!! We are now living in Grovetown Ga. and have been here for about 1 1/2 years now. We love it here. I stay at home with the girls and love every moment of it...some more than others. I cant complain. I have two very energetic girls, but they make our family so much fun. There is never a dull moment in the Pilkington home.
